First win for teenager Ashley

TEENAGER Ashley Jones of Aislaby managed his first win of the season in the Auto 66 event at Elvington at the weekend.
Ashley (15) cruised home to win by 23 seconds after starting first on the grid, despite a power valve being jammed on his bike.
The result helped Ashley close in on the top 10 in the Aprilia 125cc Superteens championship.
This weekend, he will turn his attention to the support races at the prestigious British Moto Grand Prix at Donington, for the next round of the championship.
Competitors will race at Snetterton the following weekend.
