WHITBY Flower Club has helped to grow the funds of Yorkshire Air Ambulance by £200.
The club, which meets in the Methodist Chapel Schoolroom in Briggswath, sprouted the cash through selling donations, raffle tickets and cakes. The charity was chosen by Una Hopps, who is retiring as chairman of the club.

The Whitby Flower Club members were delighted Bob Swailes from the air ambulance was available to receive the cheque.

Mr Swailes said he was delighted with the generosity of the flower club.
