EVENTS

ACTIVITIES in Sneaton Village Hall: Mondays, first in month Sneaton YCA; Tuesdays, bowls 1.30pm, third Whitby Guides 7pm; Wednesdays, Pilates 6.30-7.30pm; Thursdays, flower arranging, any standard, 1-4pm. Sneaton Village Hall is available to hire for parties, conferences, meetings and fund-raising events. Contact Pete Hall for details on 820753.

ST Hilda's Church garden party will be held in the grounds of the Old Rectory, by kind permission of Ian Buckle, on Tuesday 12 August at 2.30pm. There will be the usual stalls, tombola and competitions and farmhouse teas will be served in the village hall. During the afternoon Ron Brooke will be in the church playing favourite hymns. If wet the event will be held in the village hall. Admission free, all welcome.
