EVENTS

THE Flockton Fryer will be at Ruswarp BATA car park on Fridays, 4.45-5.30pm and 6.30-7.15pm.
RUSWARP Village Hall is available to hire for parties, functions, exercise classes, meetings etc. The hall has been refurbished and has a new kitchen with range cooker. Also available is a portable stage which can be set to any configuration. Contact Sheila on 605056 for further details.
EXTEND, movement to music exercise class on Fridays in the village hall, 1.30-3.30pm, for the over 60s and less able people of all ages, £3 per session includes tea and coffee. For details contact Enid Allen at Whitby DAG on 821001.
RUSWARP WI meets on the second Tuesday of the month at the village hall at 7pm. All ladies welcome. For details ring Margaret Walker on 602126.
WEIGHT Loss Work Out in the village hall on Mondays 8-9pm, Wednesdays, 6–7pm, £3.50. Get fit, lose weight and have fun. Contact Mel for more details on 07795 631588.
FLOWER arranging classes on Thursdays in the village hall, contact Ann Scott on 600395 for details.
THE Whitby parish Harvest Thanksgiving will be held at St Bartholomew's Church on Sunday 12 October. There will be a 10.30am Eucharist followed by harvest lunch. Booking for lunch (adults £5, children £2.50) via church wardens or parish office or ring 600437.
