AT the well attended meeting in June members were reminded of the outing to The Land Girls at the Coliseum followed by a meal at Trenchers.

On Tuesday 18 August members will be enjoying a pre-theatre meal in Glaisdale followed by the annual play at the Robinson Institute.
Volunteers were required to assist with lunches for two visiting parties during the summer.
On Thursday 22 Octobe
r the Endeavour Group of Women's Institute (Ruswarp, Hawsker, Hinderwell, Staithes and Fylingthorpe) will be presenting their annual group concert, this year to be held at Staithes. Members were asked to support, either by taking part or attending the evening.
Only two seats are left on the mystery outing planned for 21 July. Anyone interested in joining this trip should contact Jean Firth on 601560.
The entertainment for the evening was provided by Lealholm Choir under the leadership and accompaniment of Joe Skilbeck. They performed a varied and polished section of songs, some written by Joe, which was enjoyed by all members.
The meeting closed after tea and refreshments.
Ruswarp WI meets every second Tuesday of the month at Ruswarp Village Hall at 7pm. Anyone interested in coming along to one of these evenings will be most welcome.
