AT the April meeting members were reminded of the summer conference to take place at the Spa in Scarborough.
Members from surrounding WIs were invited to a dominoes drive and supper at the Robinson Institute in Glaisdale.
Bookings for the annual mystery trip are now being taken. This will be on Tuesday 21 July, cost £10 plus optional visit at £3.25. Members are reminded that this is an open invitation to all. Further details from Jean Firth on 601560.
After the business meeting, members enjoyed a pie and peas supper followed by a frivolous game of dominoes.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday 12 May at 7pm in Ruswarp Village Hall. Please feel free to come along to any meeting and see what the WI is all about.
